An order from Amsterdam, Netherlands for customization LED cube light box
This is an order from Amsterdam, Netherlands, for 3-4 LED cube light boxes with logos printed on all four sides of 50 × 50 × 50 centimeters. It will take three weeks to receive the goods, and time is quite tight.
However, the initial inquiry from the customer did not send us a picture of an acrylic LED cube light box, but rather an LED cube made of another plastic PE material. The appearance and luminous effect of these two products are very similar, and people who are not familiar with these two products are easily confused.
Quote, mockup, proof for customer's confirmation
We quickly quoted the price based on the LED cube and replied that the goods could also be delivered within the customer’s expected range. Due to the competitive price, the customer agreed.
The customer then asked if it is possible to customize colors other than white for the body of this LED cube. We replied that we can customize colors for the LED cube shell. The customer asked us which colors we can customize, and we replied that as long as the customer provides the color value, we can customize the same color as she requested.
Then the customer sent three color values, which are as follows:

The customer said that two purple colors are the body color of the LED cubes, and yellow is the font color. Later, the customer sent us two of her logos and told us how they should be displayed on the four sides of the lightbox. They asked if we could send a mockup for her confirmation.
We sent her the mockup and proof for confirmation, and after several revisions, the client finally confirmed the final version of the mockup and proof.
Not LED cube but LED cube light box
Before making the payment, the customer also asked a crucial question: Is it possible to make the edges of the box sharp instead of curved?
This sentence made us realize that what the customer wants is not this LED cube, but the LED cube light box. Due to production process limitations, the edges of the LED cubes are curved. Only the manufacturing process of LED cube light box can produce sharp edges
We immediately informed the customer that she was looking for the LED cube light box product and asked her about the purpose of the product she was looking for. She replied that this product was used for a launch event of a new company,
And ask again if the product body can be customized to their brand’s color and have sharp edges. And she sent us another picture to refer to the style she needed.
When we informed her that the LED cube light box could also be placed on the ground and used for brand events, but it didn’t have the same load-bearing capacity as the LED cube, she said they really like the LED cube light box, and from our website’s LED cube light box.
New mockup, proof, new price
A product image was sent to us on the page, hoping that we could make this acrylic lightbox in their brand’s color. Let’s requote and resend the mockup.
We have re quoted the price, but due to the higher price of LED cube light box compared to LED cube, the customer has changed the order quantity from 4 to 3.
The customer requests that the four sides of the dark purple lightbox body be printed with white logos, and the four sides of the light purple lightbox body be printed with dark purple logos. And request to achieve matte effect.
We made a mock up and proof for the customer to confirm. The customer is very satisfied and asked if the price could be reduced. We replied that the price cannot be reduced. The raw material cost, packaging cost, and shipping cost of the LED cube light box are higher than those of the LED cube, so the price cannot be reduced any further. The customer ultimately agreed to the price and said they would order more of this style in the future.
PI, payment
Next, we made a Proforma invoice to the client for confirmation. The client made the payment based on the PI and bank information we provided. As we used a local European bank account, the payment was received on the same day.
Production, shipping, receive order
After receiving the customer’s payment, we immediately arranged the production of the order. During the order production process, we continued to confirm with the customer some issues related to voltage, plugs, power cords, etc., to ensure that every part and accessory of the lightbox meets the customer’s requirements.
We only took 4 days to produce this order, and while production was underway, we contacted the shipping company to prepare for shipment. After the order was produced, we shipped it by air and it only took 7 days for the customer to receive the customized LED cube light box with their company’s specific brand color and logo. We look forward to the customer’s next orders.
Conclusion
Summary: The most important thing for this order is to be familiar with the product, communicate deeply with the customer, and understand their every need. Some customers may still have a “conceptual” or “unclear” understanding of the product they are looking for at the beginning, and we need to continuously discuss with them to determine their final needs.
