Inquiry from a Dutch customer about 2 light cubes
On December 11, 2025, we received an inquiry from a customer in the Netherlands regarding 2 light cubes. The customer’s email was as follows:

I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out to inquire about the availability and pricing for a 30cm light cube. Could you kindly provide the following details:
– Pricing information for a 30cm light cube
– Available color and design options
– Shipping details and estimated delivery times (to the Netherlands)
– Whether it is possible to have a custom logo printed on the light cubes, and if so, the process and additional costs

Communication details for 2 cube lights quotation
Within one hour of receiving the inquiry, we replied to the customer and requested additional details needed to prepare an accurate quotation. Our response was as follows:

Thanks for your inquiry.
For the 30cm LED cube

How many pieces of 30cm LED cubes do you need?
Do you need the LED cube body color (normally white) customized to other solid colors?
The LED cube has 16 LED lighting colors.

Please provide the detailed shipping address with ZIP code so we can check the shipping cost and offer you the best price.
Shipping time depends on the shipping method selected:
Express service: 3–7 business days
Air freight + door delivery: 6–12 business days (normally)

Lighted cubes mockup
After the customer replied with the confirmed product details and provided the delivery address, we immediately offered a competitive price, which the customer was very satisfied with.
The customer then asked whether we could provide a mockup to show how their logo would look on the light cubes. We created and sent the mockup the same day.
After reviewing it, the customer asked several follow-up questions and revisions:
Confirmed whether the light cubes had 16 different LED lighting colors
Requested that the logo be slightly reduced in size
Requested that the hat-shaped element in the logo be changed to the same color as the other logo text (dark blue)
Asked about the ordering process
Mockup revision and order confirmation
We confirmed that the light cubes do have 16 LED lighting colors and informed the customer that the dark blue color would be printed using the following color values:
HEX: #00008B
RGB: (0, 0, 139)
CMYK: (100, 100, 0, 45)
We also explained that once the mockup was confirmed, we would issue a proforma invoice and outlined the full ordering process.
The customer then replied that the hat should remain in its original color, and confirmed that all other details were OK.
We updated the mockup again according to the customer’s latest request and resent it.
After receiving the revised mockup, the customer confirmed there were no issues and was ready to place the order. We then sent the invoice and bank details for payment.
Payment and deadline
On December 25, the customer informed us that payment would be made shortly. Due to the Christmas holiday, payment was completed on December 28.
The payment was received on December 31, and we informed the customer that production for the two light cubes started on the same day.
The customer then asked when the goods would be delivered.
At that time, it was the New Year holiday in China (January 1–3), during which the factory was closed. We informed the customer that the estimated delivery time would be January 15–20.
The customer replied that they had an event and needed the two light cubes to arrive before January 15.
We assured the customer that we would do our best to deliver before January 15.
Because the overall communication and confirmation process took longer than expected, the customer offered to pay additional shipping costs in order to receive the goods sooner.
We confirmed that we would ship the order via UPS international express, the fastest available option, and explained that if UPS experienced no delays, delivery before January 15 would be achievable.
Production, shipping and delivery
The entire order was completed in only 2 days, including UV digital printing on four sides of the light cubes with two different logos.
Once production was finished, we shipped the order the same day via UPS.
UPS completed the delivery in 6 days. After receiving the goods, the customer was very satisfied. The UV-printed logos were sharp and clear, and the logo colors matched the customer’s requirements exactly.
Conclusion
The key takeaways from this order are:
When customers provide inconsistent revision requests during mockup confirmation, the latest confirmed version must always be followed.
Special attention must be paid to the required delivery date, especially for time-sensitive orders.
