Inquiry on 60cm long round tube lightbox sign from France
On May 16th, we received an inquiry from a well-known French restaurant regarding round tube lightbox sign. The first sentence of the inquiry customer said she would like to place an order.
The customer’s specific inquiry information is as follows:
Hello,
I’m reaching out to place an order for a Wall Mounted Acrylic Lightbox Tube Sign – 1 or 2 Layers, 360° Illuminated.
We would like to order one unit, with the following specifications:
• Length: 60 cm
• Diameter: 10 cm
• Regular light color: warm yellow
• Bracket color: silver
• Acrylic panel color: dark green
I’ve attached the visual we’d like to have applied to the sign.
Would it be possible for you to provide us with a quote as well as estimated production and delivery times?

The inquiry was very clear. After receiving it, we immediately replied to the customer and informed her that we would send the
quotation shortly.
Quotation & mock-ups
We quoted the customer prices for both the single-layer and double-layer Round Tube Lightbox Sign as requested. The quotation included the shipping cost using the fastest international express options (DHL/UPS/FedEx/TNT).
Since the customer sent us source file of her logo and wanted to see mock-ups of both single-layer and double-layer round tube lightbox sign, we created two mock-ups for her to review.
After receiving the prices and mock-ups, she asked for the price if the tube diameter was changed to 15 cm and no logo printing was required. We immediately updated the quotation.
The customer then emailed again to confirm whether the quoted prices included complete round tube lightbox sign (with bracket) and shipping cost.
We replied: yes, the price includes the full set of the round tube lighted sign (with bracket) and door-to-door delivery.
The customer asked us one more time to reconfirm the final price. We sent the final quotation again and asked if she could pay in EUR. In the same email, we converted the USD amount into EUR using the exchange rate of that day, and we asked her to provide the goods receiver’s full name and phone number for courier delivery.
Invoice & payment for round tube lightbox sign order
The customer sent us all the information of goods receiver and informed us she was preparing for payment. She requested that we send her the invoice.
Based on the shipping information and order details she provided, we prepared a proforma invoice (PI) and sent it to her.
We also informed the customer that once payment was received, we would immediately arrange her order for production.
After production is completed and the goods are shipped, we would notify her and provide the tracking number.
Production and packing
Since the customer did not require logo printing on her round tube lightbox sign, we completed production in just 2 days.
Our packing team used an export-standard wooden crate to ensure the lightbox would not be damaged during long-distance international transport.
After packing was completed, we arranged for DHL to pick up goods immediately and sent the DHL tracking number to the customer at once.
Delivery
The customer received her package in only 6 days by DHL.
After receiving them, she was very satisfied with the quality of the round tube lightbox sign.
Conclusion
This order was relatively simple.
The customer changed the product size and model during quotation phase, so during production we followed the final confirmed specifications.
Also, the customer only provided the shipping address in the initial inquiry, so we needed to reconfirm the receiver’s name and phone number to ensure the package would be delivered correctly.
